From Kitchen to Kitchen follows the evolution of the place where we have always prepared our food. It is an adventure whose origins are lost in the mists of time when “the kitchen” was simply the gesture of lighting a fire. The first hearth, a ring of loose stones, was made in prehistoric days. Later came the spit described in the myths of Homer’s ancient Greece and the first written records of pots and pans from Babylonia. Gradually the kitchen became a recognized place in the home and absolved a more distinct function (…) Today we live in homes where all our needs are catered for. Everybody cooks and we can each choose our own kitchen. The height of evolution of the kitchen means that each one of us can find the perfect answer to our expectations. The kitchen is not a painting, it is a living place.
